Finding a job in Canada is a common priority for newcomers. Because you may be unfamiliar with Canadian job-search strategies, finding work in Canada can also present the biggest challenge. My Canada Plan offers one-on-one coaching on how to conduct a job search in Canada.

We will discuss your qualifications, and identify your employment goals. Through coaching sessions and support, we will cover a range of employment topics as they relate to your needs, including:

  • Developing a resume and cover letter
  • Practising for a job interview
  • Referring you to employment services available in your destination city
  • Referring you to regulatory information in your profession (if applicable)
  • Introducing you to networking, its value, and how to do it effectively
  • Assisting you with creating and using your LinkedIn profile
